Track at Sandcrab Stadium open for public use
Port Lavaca, TX – Calhoun County ISD (CCISD) is pleased to announce that the track at Sandcrab Stadium will open for public use beginning Saturday, September 19.
The public is asked to comply with the district’s efforts towards maximizing the track surface’s life span. CCISD is providing the following guidelines for track use:
- Utilize lane 1 &2 (inside lanes) only
- Wheeled items (strollers, wagons, bicycles, skateboards, etc.) are not allowed on the track
The artificial turf and bleachers at Sandcrab Stadium are not available for public use. Pets are not allowed in the stadium.
The official guidelines for public use are posted at Sandcrab Stadium.
It may be necessary to occasionally close the track off from public use for periods of time, out of concern for safety and school functions.

Beginning Monday, Jan. 18 until further notice: closed
